Portrait Ken
This is a charcoal and pastel portrait of a very good friend, Ken Richards, the owner of the Gallery On Piper here in Kyneton. I am certainly not a portrait artist, not yet, anyway! I am taking lessons in portraiture, and hope to get a lot better. However, I am pleased with this effort, as I have managed to capture his likeness fairly well. An old friend and artist once said to me...an artist is not really an artist until he has painted a portrait...well, here is mine!
